Bodies of Work
Current Series
Mackie Lines
An ongoing body of work emerging from The Grain Project. Mackie Lines holds the human figure at the threshold where a body becomes a shape. The figures are veiled, anonymous, refracted through fluted glass and prisms until contour loosens into abstraction. Highlights stay veiled. Blacks stay deep.
The result sits closer to charcoal drawing than to reportage. Sculptural and quiet, it asks to be read slowly. The series closes at thirty images in December 2026.

The Grain Project
A laboratory of visual language based on grain, abstraction and darkroom experimentation. The Grain Project develops a framework for working with the photographic image as matter, where grain becomes structure and the hand guides every decision.
This ongoing research feeds into all other bodies of work, particularly Mackie Lines, where the visual language developed here begins to encounter the human figure.

Human Trajectories
A street photography series shot on analog film across ten years of travel. Candid encounters with people and environments, capturing the serendipity of movement and chance. Street photography about being in the right place at the right time, but also about creating those moments through instinct and openness to the world.
